Extended Vacation. 14.06.01 Employees will have the ability to take one (1) or a maximum of two (2) weeks extended vacation each year by utilizing the appropriate number of hours from their overtime bank for this purpose. Extended Vacation. With the permission of the employee’s supervisor at the time that vacation schedules are being prepared for the current year, an employee may defer their entitlement or a part thereof to use with their vacation entitlement the following year for an extended vacation. Such a request shall not be unreasonably denied. The extended vacation is limited to two (2) years' entitlement and any one year's entitlement or part thereof, must, if deferred, be used in the following year with the latter year's entitlement.

Extended Vacation. C. Educational or personal leave, provided such requests are submitted thirty (30) days in advance, or otherwise mutually agreed upon between the Employer and employee. Requests for educational or personal leave shall be responded to within ten (10) days of the request.
Extended Vacation. Part time employees will have the option to allocate additional hours equal to the hours bid on their shift to ensure their pay remains whole during their extended vacation period. Employees taking extended vacation must notify the Employer of their election by September 1st prior to the year in which the extended vacation is to be taken. (discuss forms to be provided) Employees selecting this option must have the necessary hours in the overtime bank at the time the selection is made. Part time employees will be required to have fifteen hours for each week. These hours will be frozen at the time the election is made and set aside for this purpose. Extended vacation will be bid in accordance with Article but as a second round.
Extended Vacation a) Each five (5) year period of completed continuous service with the Company qualifies the employee for extended vacation based on five (5) weeks of after five (5) years of service and nine (9) weeks of after ten years of service. Each additional five (5) year period of continuous service, after ten years of service, qualifies the employee for based on nine (9) weeks of The date of entitlement of the second establishes the start of the third five (5) year period of service. The start of each subsequent five (5) year period of service is established in the same manner as the third five (5) year period. For an employee entitled to before signature date of the Agreement: days and pay will be in addition to annual vacation and shall be added to, paid and taken with an employee’s annual vacation; All or any portion of days entitlement may be cancelled in the year an employee is scheduled for pay; if the employee opts for days must specify option for days entitlement at the time of application for annual vacation. The employee will receive pay for the full entitlement if opted not to take the days entitlement. For an employee becoming entitled to on or after the signature date of this Agreement: will be paid in full in the six (6) weeks following the end of the pay period in which the service Anniversary date completing the 5-year period entitling the employee to falls, if the employee so desires. Otherwise the employee will be paid in full at the time takes the extended vacation time; All or any portion of days entitlement may be cancelled. If an employee wishes to have days, they can be scheduled with any one annual vacation of the five (5)years following entitlement; however, the employee must specify option for days entitlement at the time of application for annual vacation and Paragraph applies.

These hours' will be removed the overtime bank at the time the election is made and set aside for this purpose; Extended vacation will be bid after all regular vacation entitlement and selection is made.
