Expiration of the Term of Agreement. This Agreement shall be automatically terminated upon the expiration of the Term, or as sooner agreed to by both the Employee and the Company in writing in the event this Agreement is superseded by a new agreement. Upon such termination, the Company shall have no further liability to the Employee for any payment, compensation or benefit whatsoever under this Agreement except with respect to (a) the Employee's salary and benefits through the effective date of the Employee's termination, and (b) such other compensation or benefits (if any) which, by the terms of the applicable plan or policy, is payable to the Employee after termination of employment.

Expiration of the Term of Agreement. Unless this Agreement is extended by a written agreement or modification by the parties, this Agreement shall be automatically terminated upon the expiration of the term of the Agreement set forth in Section 1 of this Agreement.
