Common use of Expiration of Employment Term Clause in Contracts

Expiration of Employment Term. (i) In the event Executive elects not to extend the Employment Term pursuant to Section 1, unless Executive’s employment is earlier terminated pursuant to paragraphs (a), (b), (c), or (e) of this Section 8, the Employment Term shall expire and Executive’s employment hereunder shall terminate on the close of business on the day immediately preceding the commencement of a subsequent Renewal Term, and Executive shall be entitled to receive the Accrued Rights and the rights set forth in Section 8(d)(ii) below.

Following such termination of Executive’s employment hereunder as a result of the rights expiration of the Employment Term, except as set forth in this Section 8(d)(ii) below8(d)(i), Executive shall have no further rights to any compensation or any other benefits under this Agreement.
