The 'Existing Policies and/or Practices' clause defines how current organizational rules, procedures, or standards will interact with or be affected by the new agreement. Typically, this clause clarifies whether existing policies remain in force, are superseded, or must be modified to align with the terms of the contract. For example, it may specify that employee handbooks, IT security protocols, or workplace safety guidelines continue to apply unless explicitly contradicted by the new agreement. The core function of this clause is to prevent conflicts or confusion by clearly establishing the relationship between pre-existing practices and the new contractual obligations.
Existing Policies and/or Practices. A. All policies and/or practices existing on the effective date of the Agreement which provide or require that the Employer either initially furnish uniforms to Employees, or initially reimburse Employee for the cost of the uniforms which are purchased from a vendor approved by the Employer shall be continued for the duration of the Agreement. B. All policies and/or practices of the Employer existing on the effective date of the Agreement which provide for the replacement of uniforms due to normal wear and tear, or which provide for a replacement allowance for uniforms due to normal wear and tear shall be continued for the duration of the Agreement, except that the replacement allowance shall be 75% of the actual replacement cost of the items of uniforms purchased by the Employee.

  • Policies and Practices The employment relationship between the Parties shall be governed by this Agreement and the policies and practices established by the Company and the Board of Directors (hereinafter referred to as the “Board”). In the event that the terms of this Agreement differ from or are in conflict with the Company’s policies or practices or the Company’s Employee Handbook, this Agreement shall control.

  • COMPLIANCE WITH POLICIES AND PROCEDURES During the period that Executive is employed with the Company hereunder, Executive shall adhere to the policies and standards of professionalism set forth in the Company’s Policies and Procedures as they may exist from time to time.

  • Violence Policies and Procedures The Employer agrees to have in place explicit policies and procedures to deal with violence. The policy will address the prevention of violence, the management of violent situations, provision of legal counsel and support to employees who have faced violence. The policies and procedures shall be part of the employee's health and safety policy and written copies shall be provided to each employee. Prior to implementing any changes to these policies, the employer agrees to consult with the Association.

  • Company Policies and Procedures 7.1.1 The Company will ensure that Employees are able to readily access Company policies and procedures that apply to the Employees. 7.1.2 The Employees will observe and act in accordance with Company policies and procedures that apply to the Employees, as implemented and amended from time to time.
