Exclusive Representative The University recognizes UPTE-CWA 9119, which was certified by the Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) on September 15, 1997 in SF-PC-1053-H as the sole and exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to wages, hours, and terms and conditions of employment for all employees, excluding employees defined by HEERA as managerial, supervisory and/or confidential and all student employees whose employment is contingent upon their status as students, in the Health Care Professionals (HX) bargaining unit.
Exclusive Representation The Employer shall not enter into any agreements with the employees covered by this Agreement either individually or collectively or with any other employee organization which in any way conflicts with the terms and provisions of this Agreement. Further, the Employer shall meet and negotiate, pursue the resolution of grievances and conduct arbitration proceedings only with the properly designated representative(s) of the Union.
Nurse Representatives The Employer agrees to recognize two (2) Nurse Representatives for the purpose of dealing with grievances and conducting Union interviews.
RECOGNITION OF EXCLUSIVE REPRESENTATIVE Section 1. Recognition: In accordance with P.E.L.R.A., the District recognizes the Association as the exclusive representative of teachers employed by the District which exclusive representative shall have those rights and duties as prescribed by P.E.L.R.A. and as described in the provisions of this Agreement.
Grievance Representatives Within 30 working days after the execution of this Agreement, the Union shall furnish the Xxxxxxx with a list of all persons authorized to act as the Chapter and UPI Local Grievance Representatives and shall update the list as changes occur. The designated Chapter Grievance Representative shall be an employee of the University and shall have the responsibility to meet classes, office hours, and other assigned duties and responsibilities. If the responsibilities of the Chapter Grievance Representative require rescheduling of the representative's University duties, the representative may, with the approval of the Xxxxxxx, arrange for the rescheduling of such duties or their coverage by colleagues. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. The provisions of Article 15.4. shall also apply to the UPI Local Grievance Representative if he or she is an employee of the University.
Employee Representative The employee may choose someone to represent him or her at any step in the procedure. No person hearing a grievance need recognize more than one representative for any employee at any one time, unless he or she so desires.
EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVES 13.01 The Employer acknowledges the right of the Alliance to appoint or otherwise select employees as representatives.
Contractor’s Representative Contractor hereby designates [***INSERT NAME OR TITLE***], or his or her designee, to act as its representative for the performance of this Agreement (“Contractor’s Representative”). Contractor’s Representative shall have full authority to represent and act on behalf of the Contractor for all purposes under this Agreement. The Contractor’s Representative shall supervise and direct the Services, using his best skill and attention, and shall be responsible for all means, methods, techniques, sequences and procedures and for the satisfactory coordination of all portions of the Services under this Agreement.
Consultant’s Representative Consultant hereby designates XXXXXX, or his or her designee, to act as its representative for the performance of this Agreement (“Consultant’s Representative”). Consultant’s Representative shall have full authority to represent and act on behalf of the Consultant for all purposes under this Agreement. The Consultant’s Representative shall supervise and direct the Services, using their best skill and attention, and shall be responsible for all means, methods, techniques, sequences, and procedures and for the satisfactory coordination of all portions of the Services under this Agreement.
Safety Representative On every job site, workers may elect a Workers’ Safety Representative in accordance with the Act.
