Exceeding Five Days. If temporary leave is claimed in excess of five (5) consecutive work days, on or before the end of the sixth (6th) day, for an illness, injury, or incapacitation, certification by a physician may be required before the salary for the period of leave is paid. Further, an employee's immediate supervisor may request, given evidence there is just cause, a physician's statement requiring medical verification at any time the employee is absent.

  • consecutive months If the Employer extends an individual employee’s trial service period, the Employer will provide the employee with written reasons for the extension. Employees in an in-training appointment will follow the provisions outlined in Subsection 4.3 E.

  • Month A period commencing at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, on the first Day of a calendar month and extending until 10:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, on the first Day of the next succeeding calendar month. Monthly shall have the correlative meaning.

  • Rest Interval After Overtime An employee required to work overtime adjoining his/her regularly scheduled shift shall be entitled to eight (8) clear hours between the end of the overtime work and the start of his/her next regular shift. If eight (8) clear hours are not provided, overtime rates shall apply to hours worked on the next regular shift.

  • Contract Year A twelve (12) month period during the term of the Agreement commencing on the Effective Date and each anniversary thereof.

  • No Payment Shall Exceed Lawful Rate Notwithstanding any other term of this Agreement, the Borrower shall not be obliged to pay any interest or other amounts under or in connection with this Agreement or otherwise in respect of the Obligations in excess of the amount or rate permitted under or consistent with any applicable law, rule or regulation.
