Common use of Evening Shift Premium Clause in Contracts

Evening Shift Premium. All employees who are scheduled to work twenty-two (22) hours or more per week, shall receive sixty-five (65¢) cents per hour, in addition to their regular hourly rate of pay, for each half hour worked between 6:30 p.m. and the end of the shift. Premium pay for the evening shift shall not be added to the employees’ hourly rate for the purpose of computing overtime under Article 6.01.
