Evaluation Objectives. The evaluation of unit members is directed to the following objectives: 1. Assessment of the professional performance of the unit member. 2. Improvement of performance and quality of instruction. 3. To provide a basis upon which decisions shall be made concerning the reappointment, promotion, performance-based salary adjustments, tenure, sabbatical and professional leaves, and termination, dismissal and discipline of a unit member.
