Common use of EVALUATION MATRIX Clause in Contracts

EVALUATION MATRIX. Each teacher’s performance rating will be combined with the assessment of student growth measures to produce the summative evaluation rating, based upon the following “Evaluation Matrix”: Teacher Performance 4 3 2 1 Above Accomplished Accomplished Skilled Developing Expected Skilled Skilled Developing Developing Below Developing Developing Ineffective Ineffective After final ratings for teachers are determined, the Ohio eTPES (electronic Teacher and Principal Evaluation System) is the method by which the district will report teacher final summative ratings to the State. eTPES will calculate the Studetn Growth Measures 50% from manually entered data and downloaded data (Value-Added or Vendor Assessment). The system wil then calculate the Final Summative Rating (using the Teacher Performance 50% and the Student Growth Measure 50%) for each educator.
