Ethics and University Procurements. In implementing the authority conferred by this Policy, the personnel administering any procurement shall adhere to the following provisions of the Code of Virginia: the Ethics in Public Contracting provisions of the Virginia Public Procurement Act, Article 6 (§ 2.2-4367 et seq.) of Chapter 43 of Title 2.2 of the Code of Virginia, the State and Local Government Conflict of Interests Act, Chapter 31 (§ 2.2-3100 et seq.) of Title 2.2, and the Virginia Governmental Frauds Act, Article 1.1 (§ 18.2-498.1 et seq.) of Chapter 12 of Title 18.2.
