Common use of Entry Into Force, Renewal and Termination Clause in Contracts

Entry Into Force, Renewal and Termination. 1 . This Agreement shall enter into force on the day on which the Contracting Parties have notified each other that the respective constitutional requirements for the entry into force of international agreements have been completed. It shall remain in force for an initial period of 10 years and shall be automatically renewed for successive two-year periods. Each Contracting Party may terminate this Agreement by serving written notice six months before the date of expiration.
