Enforcement Hours Eligibility. Direct labor hours expended in traffic safety enforcement programs must be over and above the normal work week. Part‐time permanent staffs are eligible for funding. Only one officer per patrol car will be funded as part of traffic enforcement grants. Officers will be paid at one and one half (1 ½) their normal hourly rate, regardless of days off or holiday. Part time personnel will be paid at their normal rate of pay.
