Common use of Employee Response Clause in Contracts

Employee Response. ‌ The affected employee may, within ten (10) business days (excluding Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, District holidays) after receiving written notice of any proposed disciplinary action, respond to the notice of proposed disciplinary action either orally or in writing. If the employee fails to respond to the notice of proposed discipline within the time period specified, he/she will have waived the right to respond at this level and the discipline may be imposed as proposed.
