Emergency Work Orders. ‌ In situations the Judicial Council considers to be emergencies, Judicial Council may direct Contractor to undertake urgent Work prior to the issuance/authorization of any SWO (TO). Contractor will be compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement and in accordance with a SWO (TO) to be issued and authorized as specified herein, as soon as practical.

Emergency Work Orders. 1. The CM will provide the Contractor with a verbal request for emergency service, identifying the location, scope and nature of the service, followed by a Work Order. 2. In the event of an emergency, the Contractor shall mobilize manpower to the site within four (4) hours of notification. After having inspected the equipment at the worksite, the Contractor shall contact the CM immediately, advise on the extent of remedial work to be performed and provide a cost estimate. This estimate shall be subject to verbal approval by the CM or his/her designee. The Contractor may not proceed with the work without this verbal authorization. 3. Only emergencies, as identified by the CM or his/her designee, may be performed without prior written approval. 4. Upon completion of the emergency service, the Contractor shall submit a detailed cost proposal to the CM. This proposal will result in a work authorization confirming the work already performed. 5. If the Contractor fails to respond within four (4) hours of assignment of the work, the Agency may engage the services of another Contractor to perform the emergency service. The cost incurred by the Agency for this re-assigned work, shall be deducted from any payment due to the Contractor or, from any future payment that may become due to the Contractor.

Related to Emergency Work Orders

  • Emergency Work Employees who are required to report for emergency work on non- workdays, or outside of their regular hours of work on a scheduled workday or on holidays which they are entitled to have off, shall be paid overtime compensation for the actual work time and for travel time in connection therewith, but such travel time shall not exceed one-half (1/2) hour.

  • Stop Work Orders A. The JBE may, at any time, by Notice to Contractor, require Contractor to stop all or any part of the Services for a period up to ninety (90) days after the Notice is delivered to Contractor, and for any further period to which the parties may agree (“Stop Work Order”). The Stop Work Order shall be specifically identified as such and shall indicate it is issued under this provision. Upon receipt of the Stop Work Order, Contractor shall immediately comply with its terms and take all reasonable steps to minimize the incurrence of costs allocable to the Services covered by the Stop Work Order during the period of stoppage. Within ninety (90) days after a Stop Work Order is delivered to Contractor, or within any extension of that period to which the parties shall have agreed, the JBE shall either (i) cancel the Stop Work Order; or (ii) terminate the Services covered by the Stop Work Order as provided for in this Agreement. B. If a Stop Work Order issued under this provision is canceled or the period of the Stop Work Order or any extension thereof expires, Contractor shall resume the performance of Services. The JBE shall make an equitable adjustment in the delivery schedule, the Contract Amount, or both, and the Agreement shall be modified, in writing, accordingly, if: i. The Stop Work Order results in an increase in the time required for, or in Contractor’s cost properly allocable to the performance of any part of this Agreement; and ii. Contractor requests an equitable adjustment within thirty (30) days after the end of the period of stoppage; however, if the JBE decides the facts justify the action, the JBE may receive and act upon a proposal submitted at any time before final payment under this Agreement. C. The JBE shall not be liable to Contractor for loss of profits because of a Stop Work Order issued under this provision.

  • Work Orders If the Contract is for indefinite quantities of Services, as specified in the Signature Document, all Work will be performed in accordance with properly executed Work Orders.

  • Emergency Room Services This plan covers services received in a hospital emergency room when needed to stabilize or initiate treatment in an emergency. If your condition needs immediate or urgent, but non-emergency care, contact your PCP or use an urgent care center. This plan covers bandages, crutches, canes, collars, and other supplies incidental to your treatment in the emergency room as part of our allowance for the emergency room services. Additional services provided in the emergency room such as radiology or physician consultations are covered separately from emergency room services and may require additional copayments. The amount you pay is based on the type of service being rendered. Follow-up care services, such as suture removal, fracture care or wound care, received at the emergency room will require an additional emergency room copayment. Follow- up care services can be obtained from your primary care provider or a specialist. See Dental Services in Section 3 for information regarding emergency dental care services.
