Common use of Email Access Clause in Contracts

Email Access. You shall be given an email address; the FCIM provider will read and respond to non-urgent communications. Such communications shall be responded by FCIM in a timely manner. You understand and agree that email and the internet should never be used to access medical care in the event of an emergency, or any situation that You could reasonably expect may develop into an emergency. You agree that in such situations, when You cannot speak to a licensed professional at FCIM immediately in person or by telephone, that You shall call 911 or the nearest emergency medical assistance provider, and follow the directions of emergency medical personnel.
