Physician Absence. From time to time, due to vacations, illness , or personal emergency, a Physician may be temporarily unavailable to provide the services referred to above in this paragraph one. In order to assist Patients in scheduling non-­‐ urgent visits, MODERN MOBILE MEDICINE will notify Patients of any planned Physician absences as soon as the dates are confirmed. In the event of a Physician’s unplanned absences, Patients will be given the name and telephone number of an appropriate provider for the Patient to contact. Any treatment rendered by the substitute provider is not covered under this contract, but may be submitted to Patient’s health plan.

In order to assist Patients in scheduling non-urgent visits, CLINIC will notify Patients of any planned Physician absences as soon as the dates are confirmed. In the event of a CLINIC Physician’s unplanned absences, Patients will be given the name and telephone number of an appropriate provider for the Patient to contact. Any treatment rendered by a non- CLINIC Physician, but instead by a substitute provider, is not covered under this contract, but may be submitted to Patient’s health plan.

Any treatment rendered by the substitute provider is not covered under this contract, but may be submitted to Patient’s health plan.

  • Excused Absences Absences will be excused only under the following circumstances.

  • SICKNESS ABSENCE Absence Due to Sickness or Quarantine Prior to the Eighth Full Calendar Day of Absence

  • Reporting Absences (a) Employees are responsible to report to work on time on each scheduled work day.

  • Medical Leave of Absence Where you have a medical leave of absence due to any medically determinable physical or mental impairment that can be expected to result in death or can be expected to last for a continuous period of not less than six months, and you have not returned to employment with the Company or an Affiliate, a Separation from Service has occurred on the earlier of: (A) the first day on which you would not be considered “disabled” under any disability policy of the Company or Affiliate under which you are then receiving a benefit; or (B) the first day on which your medical leave of absence period exceeds 29 months.

  • Family Care Leave In accordance with RCW 49.12 and WAC 296-130, employees shall be allowed to use any or all of their choice of sick leave or other paid time off to care for a family member (as defined above) who has a serious health condition or an emergency condition. Employees shall not be disciplined or otherwise discriminated against because of their exercise of these rights.

  • Family Care and Medical Leave An unpaid Family Care and Medical Leave shall be granted, to the extent of and subject to the restrictions as set forth below, to an employee who has been employed for at least twelve (12) months and who has served for 130 workdays during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the effective date of the leave. For purposes of this Section, furlough days and days worked during off-basis time shall count as "workdays". Family Care and Medical Leave absences of twenty (20) consecutive working days or less can be granted by the immediate administrator or designee. Leaves of twenty (20) or more consecutive working days can be granted only by submission of a formal leave application to the Personnel Commission.

  • Sick Leave Abuse ‌ When the Employer suspects sick leave abuse, the employee will be provided the opportunity to explain the circumstances surrounding their sick leave use prior to disciplining the employee, or making reference to sick leave use in the employee’s performance evaluation. The Employer may not adopt or enforce any policy that counts the use of paid sick leave time as an absence that may lead to or result in disciplinary action for an authorized purpose. The Employer may not discriminate or retaliate against an employee for the use of paid sick leave for an authorized purpose.

  • Maternity Maternity leaves, not to exceed six (6) months, shall be granted at the request of the employee.

  • Extended Absences In the event Tenant will be away from the Premises for more than 7 consecutive days, Tenant agrees to notify Landlord in writing of such absence. During such absence, Landlord may enter the premises at times reasonable necessary to maintain the property and inspect for damages and needed repairs.

  • MATERNITY LEAVE OF ABSENCE A Maternity Leave of Absence will be granted, subject to the following:
