Effect of suspension on Restricted Period. If the Company exercises its right to suspend the Executive’s duties and powers under Clause 5.3 after notice of termination of the Employment has been given, the aggregate of the period of the suspension and the Restricted Period shall not exceed twelve months and if the aggregate of the two periods would exceed twelve months, the Restricted Period shall be reduced accordingly.
Effect of suspension on Restricted Period. If the Company exercises its right to suspend the Executive's duties and powers under Clause 5.3 after notice of termination of the Employment has been given, the aggregate of the period of the suspension and the period after the Termination Date for which the covenants in Clause 17 shall apply shall not exceed 12 months and if the aggregate of the two periods would exceed 12 months, the period after the Termination Date for which the covenants in Clause 17 shall apply shall be reduced accordingly.
