Educational responsibilities. All teachers should devote constant attention to keeping abreast of new methods and concepts pertinent to most effectively meeting the needs of pupils.
Educational responsibilities. The Associate Partner will provide appropriate education, guidance and evaluation within the framework of IMBRSea and in conformity with any and all applicable arrangements in the Professional Practice and Master Thesis Guidelines (see Annex 2 and 3). (Institute) will contribute to the following aspects of the programme: lProfessional Practice The Associate Partner can offer opportunities for first year IMBRSea students to do a Professional Practice. A Professional Practice is defined as a period in which a student can gain experience in an actual work situation. The Professional Practice counts for 12 ECTS credits (minimum 240 hours), of which the hours can be spread over a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum of 2 months. Evaluation shall be based on feedback from the Professional Practice supervisor at the Associate Partner, and a portfolio made and presented by the student and evaluated by an evaluation committee during the annual symposium. Practical guidelines for Professional Practice organization are provided in Annex 2. In case practicalities change during the running of this agreement, the associate Partner organization will be timely informed. lMaster thesis supervision The Associate Partner can offer opportunities for IMBRSea students to carry out thesis research. When students are carrying out thesis research, a staff Partner of the Associate Partner may act as (co-)supervisor for the MSc thesis. The (co-)supervisor will participate in the examination committee for the student concerned (upon approval of the IMBRSea Programme Board). Master thesis regulations and guidelines are provided in Annex 3. This agreement takes into account the fact that the main thesis supervisor of each student must pertain to the academic staff of one of the partner universities organizing the degree, or to another, associated, higher education institution.

The Partners shall cooperate to achieve the goals of the Programme and to keep the structure, the quality and the outcomes of EMLE education in line with the standards set forth in Section A of this Agreement. To this purpose, the Partners undertake the following. They shall: - Appoint one member of the teaching staff as Local Coordinator bearing re- sponsibility for the Partner’s obligations arising from this Agreement; - Appoint one member of the teaching staff as representative in the EMLE Ex- amination Board; - Maintain a minimum staff of four qualified teachers when they offer courses in the first or in the second term; - Maintain a minimum staff of two qualified teachers when they offer courses in the third term; - Have at least one part-time administrative assistant for the EMLE; - Offer courses and thesis supervision according to the term and specialization structure referred to in this Agreement and to their role therein; - Communicate to the Director their specific dates in the Academic Calendar before the end of January of the year preceding the relevant academic year; - Comply with the decisions of the Board concerning course coordination and how to address the feedback of students and of other stakeholders; - Constantly monitor the quality of education and report potential problems to the Director or, if necessary, to the Board; - Provide the students with all the facilities and the learning support described in this Agreement; - manage all communications with the students timely, concerning their activi- ties during the term(s) spent at their university; - Guarantee availability of the teachers via email and/or in office hours; - Provide each graduating student who spent one or two terms at their universi- ty with a legally recognized diploma and a diploma supplement in line with the national regulations, as specified in this Agreement; - Liaise with actual and potential Associated Members established at the local level; - After adequate warning, report to the Director any serious problem with the students; - After adequate warning, report to the EM coordinator any serious problem with the students or the visiting scholars receiving an ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇; - Regularly attend the Board Meetings and, when applicable, the Teachers Meetings.
Educational responsibilities. 8.01 The parties recognize that the employment relationship described in this agreement is subject to the authority of the Law Society and its requirements, rules, and regulations with respect to the Licensing Process as established by the Law Society from time to time. The parties agree that in the event of any conflict between the provisions of this Agreement and the said requirements, rules, and regulations of the Law Society, the requirements, rules, and regulations of the Law Society shall prevail and the parties shall meet to amend the Agreement as required.
8.02 It is specifically agreed that the Articles of Clerkship, the Education Plan and the employees and the Employer's rights and responsibilities in respect of the Law Society of Ontario are not a part of this Collective Agreement nor a matter that can be the subject of a difference, grievance, dispute or claim under the Collective Agreement.
8.03 Articling is one component of the requirements for qualifying as a lawyer established by the Law Society of Ontario. The purpose of articling is to provide employees with an experience in the practical application of their legal education in a supervised environment.
8.04 Employees should receive orientation, instructive feedback and ongoing supervision throughout the articling process.
Educational responsibilities. Each partner university will implement, as far as possible, the guidelines and recommendations of the PSC with respect to educational matters. The universities are responsible for providing appropriate education, teaching and examination within the framework of this article. Teaching staff should be internationally recognised experts in their field and have sufficient experience in Health Management in Aquaculture issues. Members teaching AquaH courses will consider AquaH students equal to other students who follow these or similar courses in the other programmes in the university. A master’s dissertation supervisor is assigned to each student. The supervisor is the professor who carries the end- responsibility on content of the thesis and quality of the supervision. The day-to-day guidance of the student can be delegated to a co-supervisor. Teachers participating in the programme will be available as promoter of theses in their field of expertise. Specific contact hours to meet staff involved, and to tackle possible problems of an academic or administrative nature, will be announced.
