Common use of EDS / Certification Regarding Suspension and Debarment Clause in Contracts

EDS / Certification Regarding Suspension and Debarment. Contractor certifies, as further evidenced in the EDS attached as Exhibit 2, by its acceptance of this Agreement that neither it nor its principals is presently debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible or voluntarily excluded from participation in this transaction by any federal department or agency. Contractor further agrees by executing this Agreement that it will include this clause without modification in all lower tier transactions, solicitations, proposals, contracts and subcontracts. If Contractor or any lower tier participant is unable to certify to this statement, it must attach an explanation to the Agreement.
