Duration Period. This Agreement shall be effective as of July 1, 2004 and shall continue in effect until June 30, 2007, and shall not be extended orally. This Agreement shall be subject to the Association's right to negotiate over a successor Agreement.

However, the Administration and Board may stipulate on matters not expressly provided for in the Agreement by means of a written memorandum of understanding between the Board and the Association. A memorandum of understanding is binding upon execution by the Superintendent and the Association President but requires subsequent ratification unless its duration is for a period of one year or less.
