Common use of Duration of the Pact Clause in Contracts

Duration of the Pact. a. This Pact will be effective from the date of issue of tender (NIT).It expires for the Contractor/Vendor 12 months after the completion of work under the contract or till the continuation of defect liability period, whichever is more and for all other unsuccessful bidders, within 6 months from date of placement of order / finalization of contract against this tender till the Contract has been awarded.
