Duration of Order. You may make a written stop payment order. Verbal stop payment orders are not permitted by the Credit Union. A written stop payment order will be effective for one (1) year. A written stop payment order may be renewed in writing from time to time. The Credit Union is not obligated to notify you when a stop payment order expires.
