Drivers Education. (Behind the Wheel)
12.1 Pay for teaching in the Driver's Education (BTW) Program shall be at the rate of .00065 of beginning base.
Drivers Education. Program coordination, behind-the-wheel and classroom instruction performed outside the teacher's regular school day (eight hours) shall be remunerated at the rate of $26.62 per hour through the summer of 2025. The driver education coordinator shall be paid $4076.

The mentor shall be available to provide professional support and guidance. The rate of pay for first year teachers new to the district will be at the year #3 rate (0.75%). Mentor teachers shall be assigned in accordance with the following:
1. Participation as a mentor shall be voluntary.
2. Either the mentor or probationary teacher may request that the mutual be terminated prior to the conclusion of the school year.
3. There will be a required checklist to be completed and signed by mentor and mentee. A Mentor Guidelines Committee including bargaining unit members and Administration will determine duties and documentation to be attached to this contract.
4. Mentors may be selected regardless of seniority.
5. The administration may go off staff to select mentors.
6. Members of the bargaining unit participating as mentors shall be tenured unless agreed upon by the Superintendent and CEA
Drivers Education. 25 The hourly rate for behind-the-wheel driver’s education instruction shall be 95% of the 26 hourly instructional rate. 27
Drivers Education. The Drivers' Education Teacher shall receive 8.7% of a B.A. + 15 salary of his/her experience for one semester of drivers' training, plus an extra six (6) hours pay for each student over sixteen (16) students per semester. The number of the students shall be counted at the end of the first quarter. Each hour shall be considered 1/l 14th of the total semester base.
Drivers Education. Driver education teachers will receive $18 per hour for both behind-the-wheel and classroom instruction.
Drivers Education. A bargaining unit member who is employed in the Driver Education Program shall be paid for each hour of service at a rate of thirty dollars ($30.00) per hour.
