DRIVE. The Employer shall deduct from the pay check of each employee who has so authorized it a contribution to Democratic, Republican, Independent Voter Education (D.R.I.V.E.). The amounts deducted shall be transmitted monthly to D.R.I.V.E. on behalf of the employees involved. Authorization by the employee shall be on a form approved by the parties hereto and may be revoked by the employee on request. The performance of this function is recognized as a service to the Union by the Employer.
