Document Revisions Clause Samples
The Document Revisions clause establishes the procedures and conditions under which changes or updates can be made to a document after its initial creation. Typically, this clause outlines who has the authority to propose or approve revisions, the process for tracking and communicating changes, and any requirements for documenting the revision history. Its core practical function is to ensure that all parties are aware of and agree to modifications, thereby maintaining version control and preventing disputes over which document version is authoritative.
Document Revisions. Making significant revisions to the Drawings, Specifications or other Documents where such revisions are: (i) inconsistent with approval or instructions previously given by the District, including revisions necessary due to significant adjustments in the District’s Program, budget or construction completion time for the Assigned Project; (ii) required by enactment of, or revisions to codes, laws, rules or regulations applicable to the Work of the Assigned Project where such enactment or revision could not have been reasonably foreseen by Consultant; or (iii) due to the District’s failure to render decisions in a timely manner.
Document Revisions. The following requirements apply to Revisions for CDRL items provided in response to the data requirements specified in the CDRL:
Document Revisions. Document Revisions. Subject to Subparagraph 3.5.2.4 and Subparagraph 3.5.2.5 hereof, Services required to revise drawings, Specifications or other documents when such revisions are:
..1 inconsistent with approvals or instructions previously given by the Development Manager, including revisions made necessary by adjustments in the Project Budget, excluding the addition of funds to the Project Budget which does not materially alter the scope of the Project;
..2 required by the enactment or revision of codes, laws or regulations subsequent to the preparation of such documents; or
..3 due to changes required as a result of the Owner's failure to render decisions in a timely manner.
