District Training and Meetings. Training authorized or required by the District, (with the exception of training which is required as a condition of initial employment), shall be paid at the salary rate of the employee. Attendance at District or department meetings, if required to attend, shall be paid at the salary rate of the employee, or the overtime rate if applicable. Reasonable expenses including meals, mileage, parking and required materials will be reimbursed by the District per District policy.
