Common use of District Support Clause in Contracts

District Support. The host district DCBOE agrees to analyze district budgets to identify opportunities for support of Valley Academy implementation; provide adequate and equitable district financial resources to effectively support Valley Academy, including allocations for staff instructional supplies, professional development, etc. Participating districts agree to consider reasonable and appropriate requests from the Advisory Board for in-kind commitments that would support Valley Academy without detracting from the services of the participating districts to their own students following all North Carolina procurement laws and policies of the DCBOE.  Leadership and sustainability. The participating districts commit to provide continuous leadership and support in collaboration with the Advisory Board and the partners of Valley Academy, and to work to assure sustainability of Valley Academy.
