DISTANT LOCATIONS Clause Samples
The DISTANT LOCATIONS clause defines how the parties will handle situations where work, services, or deliveries must occur at locations far from the primary business site or outside a standard geographic area. Typically, this clause outlines any additional costs, logistical arrangements, or notice requirements that apply when personnel or resources are required to travel to or operate in remote or hard-to-reach places. Its core function is to allocate responsibility and clarify expectations regarding the challenges and expenses associated with servicing distant locations, thereby preventing disputes over unforeseen costs or obligations.
