Dispatch and Hiring. 1. When an Employer requests the Union to dispatch an Apprentice, the Employer shall indicate an approximate wage rate range for such Apprentice and the Union shall dispatch an Apprentice within such range if it is able to do so. In the event the Union is unable to do so, the Union shall advise the Employer accordingly and reserves the right to offer to dispatch a CCL or a higher/lower rate Apprentice as an alternative. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Union retains the right to determine the wage rate payable to any Apprentice upon dispatch, and the Employer retains the right to reject any alternative dispatch.
