Disciplinary Transfer. The reassignment of an employee from one assignment to another at the direction of the Chief of Police. Major Suspension – A temporary removal from active work status, without pay, for a minimum of 41 hours to a maximum of 80 hours. 36 months (3 years) after the date on the notice of suspension. Subsequent similar violations add up to 24 months. Each subsequent sustained similar violation will increase the Class Level by one level.
