Dialectical Behavior Therapy Clause Samples
The Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) clause outlines the use of DBT as a therapeutic approach within the context of an agreement, typically specifying that services provided will utilize DBT methods. This clause may detail the structure of therapy sessions, the qualifications of the therapist, and the types of issues DBT is intended to address, such as emotional regulation or interpersonal effectiveness. Its core function is to ensure that all parties understand the therapeutic framework being used, thereby setting clear expectations and promoting effective treatment outcomes.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy. This differential is intended to improve safety of staff and patients by promoting the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) treatment.
1) A differential of two and one half percent (2.5%) of base salary shall be paid to Mental Health Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioners assigned the role of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners for all hours worked when the following conditions are met:
a) when their regular assignment is on a DBT designated unit at OSH,
b) they have successfully completed the initial Oregon State Hospital DBT training,
c) they have demonstrated DBT competency skills as verified by the competency verification process; and
d) they continue to demonstrate annual competency, including but not limited to, successful completion of at least fifty percent (50%) of the monthly refresher trainings.
2) Management reserves the right to designate DBT units.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Licensed Master or Doctoral-level therapist board approved for independent practice, i.e. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist; and Max daily rate $300.00 Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist Doctoral degree: ⮚ In Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, or Educational Psychology; and ⮚ Licensed Psychologist; or Master’s degree: ⮚ In Psychology, School Psychology, or Educational Psychology with at least 2 years of post-master’s supervised experience in testing and psychological assessment; and ⮚ Current licensure as an LPC Practitioners $109.33 CNS-MH; LICSW; LMFT; LPCC; LP; NP; Psychiatrist $156.20
