Doctoral Degree. Requires the completion of a doctoral degree in the teacher’s field or related fields. Only teachers employed in ISD 197 who, on June 30, 2011, are either already at the doctoral salary or are already enrolled and taking classes in a doctoral program approved by ISD 197 are eligible for course reimbursement and the doctoral salary column.

Doctoral Degree. Attainment of the doctoral degree from an accredited institution of higher education. The District shall be the final arbiter in assessing the qualifications of doctorates.
Doctoral Degree. After the doctoral student has successfully defended the thesis before the board, by virtue of this agreement, the Universitat de Girona and the (name of the other university) shall both fully recognise the validity of the doctoral degree awarded, provided that the doctoral student has fulfilled all the administrative tasks required before the defence of the thesis.
