Common use of Developmental Opportunities Clause in Contracts

Developmental Opportunities. The Agency may provide developmental assignments and job rotation assignments. Teachers in these assignments retain their permanent position classification, remain on the Agency payroll, retain the representation status of their permanent positions while on the assignments, except for assignments in supervisory or confidential positions, and return to their permanent positions on completion of the assignments. Teachers participating in developmental and job rotation assignments will continue to receive compensation at the rate of their permanent position and shall continue to accrue rights and benefits related to their permanent position.
