Common use of Design Manager Clause in Contracts

Design Manager. 2 The Design Manager is responsible for coordinating the individual design disciplines and is 3 responsible for ensuring that the overall Project design is completed and design criteria and 4 requirements are met. This individual must be assigned to the Project full time and must be an 5 employee of (i) Developer, (ii) an Equity Member that holds at least a 1/3 beneficial interest in 6 Developer, (iii) the Lead Subcontractor, or (iv) the Lead Engineering Firm, and must be under 7 the direct supervision of the Project Manager. This individual must be on-site full-time until 8 completion of the Design Work and as required during the Construction Work of the Project. 9 This individual is responsible for design quality management and must have primary 10 responsibility for Design Work.
