DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION Definitions 1.1 In this Contract, unless the contrary intention appears: Activity End Date means the date reported as such in a Student Statistical Report for an individual's enrolment in an individual subject. Activity Start Date means the date reported as such in a Student Statistical Report for an individual's enrolment in an individual subject. Apprentice has the meaning given to it in the Act. Approved Training Scheme means a training scheme approved under section 5.5.2 of the Act. Definition of Dependent The definition of a dependent shall include the domestic partner of an employee and the dependents of such domestic partner. Any employee claiming a domestic partner and/or the dependents of such domestic partner for purposes of this Article shall have an approved City Affidavit of Domestic Partnership form or a registered State of California Declaration of Domestic Partnership form on file in the Employee Benefits Office, Personnel Department, which identifies that individual as the employee’s domestic partner.
