Deferred Holiday Sample Clauses

A Deferred Holiday clause establishes the rules for postponing a public holiday that falls on a non-working day, such as a weekend, to a later date. Typically, this means that if a scheduled holiday occurs on a Saturday or Sunday, employees are granted a substitute day off, often on the next working day. This ensures that employees do not lose their entitled holiday benefit due to calendar alignment, maintaining fairness and consistency in time-off policies.
