DCFS. A. The parties agree to maintain, in conjunction with Unit 723, a Joint Departmental Union-Management Committee to develop recommendations on health and safety matters for employees in this bargaining unit. The committee may recommend training programs such as first aid, CPR training, self-defense, field safety, self-care, and strategies to enhance the Peer Support Program. The committee will also look at issues such as notification to employees of known dangerous addresses, neighborhoods, and streets. The committee will address the issue of earthquake preparedness in each office, including making advisory recommendations for the acquisition of supplies. The specific content of these training programs will be determined by the Joint Union-Management Committee which will make recommendations for implementation to the department head. The committee will meet monthly and shall consist of four Union and four management representatives.
