Common use of Daylight Saving Time Clause in Contracts

Daylight Saving Time. If a non-exempt staff member actually works one (1) hour greater than his/her scheduled hours of work as a result of an adjustment in daylight savings time, he/she shall receive either one (1) hour additional pay or one and one-half (1 ½) hours additional pay. If a non-exempt staff member works one (1) hour less than his/her scheduled hours of work as a result of an adjustment in daylight savings time, s/he will be compensated for the time actually worked.
