DAY WORKER. An employee who during the period of such recreation leave would have worked on day work only - an allowance calculated at the rate of 17.5% of his/her normal salary plus, where applicable, any higher duty allowance or all purpose payment payable to the employee concerned.
DAY WORKER. A Day Worker’s ordinary hours is exclusive of meal breaks.
DAY WORKER. A day worker is an employee who is normally required to work eight (8) hours per day, Monday through Friday, inclusive, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except as otherwise provided. DAY WORKER. In the case of an employee whose ordinary hours of work are arranged in accordance with clause 18, Hours of Duty, of this award, the weekday to be taken off shall not coincide with a public holiday fixed in accordance with subclause (a) of this clause; provided that, in the event that a public holiday is prescribed after an employee has been given notice of a weekday off in accordance with the said clause 18, of this award and the public holiday falls on the weekday the employee is to take off, the employer shall allow the employee to take the day off on an alternative weekday.

DAY WORKER. Subject to clause 6.3 (Working of a 38 hour week) and subject to the exceptions hereinafter provided, the ordinary hours of work shall be an average of 38 per week, to be worked on one of the following ways:
DAY WORKER. 16.2.1 A day worker who is given notice to work overtime immediately following normal hours, which is cancelled prior to the employee commencing that overtime, shall be paid a minimum of one hour's ordinary pay for that overtime. Where the employee has commenced working overtime, they will receive a minimum of one hour’s pay at double time.
