Danger Pay. Except for ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or Bridge Labourers a premium allowance of one dollar ($1.00) per hour shall be paid in addition to regular rates of pay for employees working on a swing stage, over bridges or stacks, or towers, or over the side of buildings or vessels, such that they are working more than fifty (50) feet/15.24 meters above surrounding terrain. Premium allowance shall apply to actual time while exposed, except that the minimum time shall be one half (½) hour.
Danger Pay. (i) Employees working in ditches eight (8) feet or greater in depth, or working on the super structure or below the deck of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Street or Point ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, in accordance with the following interpretations, shall receive premium pay of sixty cents (60c/ ) per hour over and above the employee’s standard rate while so employed.
Danger Pay. If an employee is required to work in an environment that requires protective clothing, breathing apparatus or the removal of hazardous materials, because it is hazardous to the employee's health, either immediate or of a long term effect, then that employee shall receive danger pay equal to two dollars ($2.00) per hour above his hourly rate.

It is the responsibility of the individual Leadhand to advise the Supervisor that conditions are such that danger pay should be considered. Danger pay will apply only to those employees working in the ditch and not to those on the same job but not working under the same conditions. (c) Working on ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Street or Point ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇: Employees working, painting, chipping, or similar work on the super structure or below the deck of either the bridges are eligible for danger pay. It shall not apply for employees working on the deck or level areas. This pay shall not apply to normal maintenance routines of any nature. (i) The ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ on the bridge is responsible for keeping a record of the time spent by employees under the hazardous conditions, clearly separating these hazardous conditions times from the normal conditions. The payment of danger pay to be at the sole discretion of the Superintendent of Public Works. (ii) This danger pay shall not apply to employees who do normal maintenance duty, or normal duties on ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Street Bridge. (d) Danger Pay will apply to those employees who are required to work at heights that require use of safety fall arrest equipment.

  • Improper Payments Except for such matters that, individually or in the aggregate, have not had or caused and would not reasonably be expected to have or cause a Company Material Adverse Effect: (a) no funds, assets or properties of the Company or its Affiliates have been used or offered for illegal purposes; (b) no accumulation or use of any funds, assets or properties of the Company or its Affiliates has been made without being properly accounted for in the financial books and records of the Company or its Affiliates; (c) all payments by or on behalf of the Company or its Affiliates have been duly and properly recorded and accounted for in their financial books and records and such books and records accurately and fairly reflect all transactions and dispositions of the assets of the Company and its Affiliates; (d) the Company has devised and maintained systems that provide reasonable assurances that transactions are and have been executed in accordance with management’s general or specific authorization; (e) neither the Company nor any of its Affiliates, nor any director, officer, agent, employee or other Person associated with or acting on behalf of the Company or its Affiliates, has (i) used any corporate funds for any unlawful contribution, gift, entertainment or payment of anything of value relating to political activity, (ii) made any direct or indirect unlawful payment to any employee, agent, officer, director, representative or stockholder of a Governmental Authority or political party, or official or candidate thereof, or any immediate family member of the foregoing or (iii) made any bribe, unlawful rebate, payoff, influence payment, kickback or other unlawful payment in connection with the conduct of the Company’s or its Affiliates’ businesses; (f) none of the Company, any of its Affiliates or any agent of any of them has received any bribes, kickbacks or other improper payments from vendors, suppliers or other Persons; and (g) the Company has no Knowledge that any payment made to a Person would be or has thereafter been offered, given or provided to any foreign official, political party or official thereof, or to any candidate for public office.

  • ACCIDENT PAY The company shall pay accident pay as defined in the award, during the incapacity of their employee/s arising from any one injury, for a total of fifty-two (52) weeks - irrespective of whether such incapacity is in one continuous period or not.

  • Injury Pay If an employee is injured on the job and his supervisor excuses him from further duty for the balance of his shift, the employee's regular rate of pay shall continue for the balance of that shift and there shall be no deduction from sick leave or other credits.

  • Overtime requirements No contractor or subcontractor contracting for any part of the contract work which may require or involve the employment of laborers or mechanics shall require or permit any such laborer or mechanic in any workweek in which he or she is employed on such work to work in excess of forty hours in such workweek unless such laborer or mechanic receives compensation at a rate not less than one and one-half times the basic rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of forty hours in such workweek.
