Common use of Custodial investment account Clause in Contracts

Custodial investment account. Prior to the business day preceding the distribution day, CitiMortgage may deposit the amounts required to be transferred on the determination date from the custodial accounts for P&I in a separate account in the name of CitiMortgage and the Trustee (such account will be maintained in the trust department of a Depository and will bear a designation clearly indicating that the principal of all investments in such account is held for the benefit of the Trustee on behalf of the certificate holders) (the custodial investment account) for investment only in one or more Eligible Investments. CitiMortgage will bear any and all losses incurred on any investments made with such funds and will be entitled to retain all gains realized on such investments as additional compensation for its services as master servicer. The amount of any losses incurred in respect of any such investments will be deposited in the custodial investment account by CitiMortgage out of its own funds immediately as realized. Any successor master servicer appointed pursuant to this agreement will not be responsible for losses attributable to its predecessor. No investments held in the custodial investment account will mature later than the business day preceding the distribution day.
