Common use of Crib time – holidays Clause in Contracts

Crib time – holidays. An employee not engaged on continuous work working on a Sunday or public holiday shall be allowed a crib time of twenty minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of work, if the employee continues work after such crib time. Provided that where a day worker is required to work on a public holiday the first prescribed crib time shall if occurring between 10:00am and 1:00pm be paid at ordinary rates.
