Credits. An employee Employee shall earn sick leave credits at the following rate one of days per day that they work. Subject to (1) and one-quarter days for each calendar month in which (2) below, and to the employee has received pay for at least ten days and such leave credits remainder of this Article, all absences on account of illness on a normal working day (exclusive of designated holidays) shall be on a cumulative basis from year to yearcharged against an Employees accumulated sick leave credits.

Credits. An employee shall earn sick leave credits at the following rate of one and one-quarter (1%) days for each calendar month in for which the employee has received receives pay for at least ten days and such days. A shift worker shall earn additional sick leave credits at the rate of one-sixth of a day for each calendar month during which the employee works shifts and the employee receives pay for at least ten days. Such credits shall not be on a cumulative basis from carried over in the next calendar year to yearand are available only if the employee has already used fifteen (15) sick leave credits.
