Common use of Course Leave Clause in Contracts

Course Leave. In the event that the Employer requires an employee to take courses or attend a workshop, the Employer shall bear the full cost of the course or workshop, including the tuition fees, entrance or registration fees, laboratory fees, and course-required books. The Employer shall also reimburse the employee for his/her travelling, subsistence, and other legitimate expenses where applicable. An employee may request leave without pay, or leave with partial pay, to take courses in which the employee wishes to enrol. The terms of the leave shall be subject to mutual agreement by the Employer and the employee.
