Counselor Workload. 6.3.1 The assigned hours of the regular contract workload shall be spent on the following counseling and guidance activities as assigned by the Immediate Management Supervisor.
Counselor Workload. Workload for full-time faculty other than full-time teaching faculty eligible for membership in the Association shall be forty (40) hours per week. Counselor Workload. 6.31 The 35-hour weekly work schedule for each Counselor will be assigned by the Administrative Supervisor and may include evening and weekend hours so as to provide evening and weekend counseling services. Each Counselor's workload will not require more than five work days and will include five hours per week for non-student contact job-related activities unless otherwise agreed to in accordance with Article 6.13. Where travel or off-campus activities are required by the Administrative Supervisor, the time required will be included in the work week.

The change in FTE from the prior year’s authorized level will be funded by the District for the current year from one-time-only program development funds. On-site counselors agree to support RRE students taught from their buildings (i.e. consultation with remote teachers to assess student mental health needs, completing CPS reports, and appointing outside counseling services). Elementary Counselors who support RRE students will receive a stipend of $1,000.
Counselor Workload. The fall semester fourth week enrollment data, excluding those students who are enrolled in only apprenticeship, independent study, or pre-recorded media courses, shall be the basis for determining the subsequent year’s full-time equivalent (FTE) authorized counseling level at a ratio not to exceed 1:900. At the completion of the fall semester first census, authorized counseling FTE for the following spring semester will be adjusted to meet the above ratio (1/2 annual FTE) only. Adjunct/overload faculty may be employed until regular faculty are allocated for the following year. If actual college counselor staffing is in excess of authorized counseling levels, the authorized level may be achieved by the assignment of counselors to perform instructional or other duties, as appropriate. Such assignments may include faculty transfers to another college/site if the particular college's staffing level is below the authorized level (see Article 5).
