Common use of Council Responsibilities Clause in Contracts

Council Responsibilities. The Joint Instructional Council shall oversee the design, development and implementation of District instructional programs. The Council’s responsibilities shall include: a. Oversee the development of a comprehensive District-wide curriculum; b. Develop procedures and criteria for the continuous evaluation of the District curriculum; c. Oversee all recommendations for textbooks; d. Schedule textbook purchase/curriculum revision rotation. The Council will review and approve all changes in existing or proposed curricula prior to implementation.
