Common use of Corrective Discipline Clause in Contracts

Corrective Discipline. Except as provided in paragraph 21.6, the Employer recognizes the objective of corrective discipline for employees. The corrective procedure may result in the suspension or discharge of an employee if the progressive severity of the disciplinary actions taken by supervision does not bring about the desired improvement in behavior or performance from the employee. Corrective discipline shall normally be in the order described below:
