COPE. The Employer agrees to deduct and transmit to SEIU Healthcare Minnesota, COPE contributions on a monthly basis from the wages of those employees who voluntarily authorize such contributions on the forms provided for that purpose by SEIU Healthcare Minnesota. These transmittals shall occur monthly and shall be accompanied by a list of the names of those employees for whom such deductions have been made and the amount deducted for each employee. Any employee who has authorized deductions for COPE may revoke that authorization at any time.

COPE. (Committee on Political Education) Deductions-The University shall honor separate additional voluntary deduction authorizations for the Union’s Political Action Committee (CWA-COPE). The standard form to be used following the execution of this Agreement shall be attached as Appendix C.2 to this Agreement.
COPE. The Employer agrees to deduct from the pay of those employees who individually request voluntary contributions to the SEIU 73 C.O.P.E.
COPE. The Employer agrees to deduct from the pay of those members who individually request it voluntary contributions of the SEIU COPE Fund. The Union shall notify the Employer of the per pay period amount that is to be deducted. Such amounts shall be remitted to the Union every pay period.

COPE. If an employee agrees in writing to make voluntary Committee on Political Education (COPE) or voluntary life insurance offered by the Union contribution, on a form approved by both the Union and SunLine, then SunLine will deduct such amounts from payroll and remit to the Union in the same manner as the dues deduction herein.
COPE. Subject to applicable laws and upon receipt of a written authorization from an employee, the Company shall deduct from the pay due such an employee Committee on Political Education (C.O.P.E.) donations and transmit such, separately from Union dues deductions, to the Financial Secretary of each Local Union. An employee’s written authorization for the Company to deduct C.O.P.E. donations shall continue in effect for the duration of this Agreement, or until receipt by the Company of a written notice of revocation, or when the employee ceases to be represented by the Union, whichever occurs earlier. The Company shall have no obligation to deduct C.O.P.E. donations for any period in which the employee received (after all other deductions) pay less than the amount of such donation. The Union shall indemnify and save the Company harmless against any and all claims, demands, lawsuits, or other forms of liability that may arise out of or by any reason of action taken by the Company in making payroll deductions of C.O.P.E. donations as hereinabove defined.
COPE. The District agrees to deduct and transmit to SEIU COPE such sums from the wages of employees who voluntarily authorize such deduction on the forms provided for that purpose by the Union. The transmittal shall be accomplished by a list of the names of the employees from who such deduction have been made and the amount deducted from each employee. The rate of deduction may be adjusted once each calendar year. However, an employee may request termination of the deduction in its entirety, in writing, at any time during the year. It is understood that such withholdings will be transmitted at the same time as the employees’ dues withholdings.
