It will consist of permanent members (Alliance4Life’s Board members who have a scientific background) plus invited external members/evaluators – members of the Advisory Group and /or resulting from the Excellence Mapping activity (Task 2.1 of the Project A4L_ACTIONS). The external members/evaluators will be invited by the Board based on the needed area of expertise that will depend on the submitted Seed Fund and Open Access to Infrastructure projects. Coordinator. 6.4.1 4.1 The Coordinator shall, in co-ordination with the other Consortium bodies, ensure the overall coordination of the Project and its contractual and administrative management and shall liaise between the Participants and the Commission. To this effect, the Coordinator shall discharge on behalf of the Participants such duties as are defined by the Grant Agreement or this Agreement. The Participants agree that CERN acts as Coordinator for the Project.

6.4.2 In particular, (d) preparation of minutes and follow-up of the Coordinator shall be responsible for: - meetings and of decisions taken by the Governing Board and the Steering Committee;
(e) overall supervision of progress relative to the time schedules and Project Deliverables;
(f) collection and submission to the Commission of Project Deliverables and any other Project-related documents;
(g) monitoring of the compliance by the Parties with Participants of their obligations - keeping in relation to the address list of Members and other contact persons updated and available Specific requested documents could, for example, be related in particular to activities raising ethical and security issues or involving human embryos or human embryonic stem cells or dual-use goods or dangerous materials and substances. 4.3 If the Coordinator does not receive Project Deliverables including Financial Statements in accordance with applicable timescales it shall be entitled to defer their submission to the Commission and to submit only the Project Deliverables and Financial Statements received within the applicable timescales.
4.4 The Participants are deemed to approve the terms of the Grant Agreement.
