Common use of Coordination of Transportation and Land Use Management Clause in Contracts

Coordination of Transportation and Land Use Management. NCTPA shall develop and implement programs and policies for the coordination of transportation and related land use management by the Member Jurisdictions. Such programs may include, but shall not be limited to, providing analysis of the impacts of land use decisions by the Member Jurisdictions on regional transportation systems and the costs associated with mitigating those impacts. In carrying out this responsibility, NCTPA shall review and comment on all discretionary projects related to transportation under consideration by any of the Member Jurisdictions and may review and comment on such discretionary projects under consideration by any other public entity which are submitted to NCTPA for review and comment.
